Here you will find all of the information you will need to plan and execute a well-run residents' council event. Start by reviewing the Event Proposal Guidelines. Answer the questions below to see which guidelines apply to your event.

Next, submit your proposal electronically to the Housing Department for review and approval. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of your submission with your event information for your records, and your Residence Manager will receive notification of your proposal.

The event proposal review process ensures that all of the event requirements for Western University and the Department of Housing are met. You can expect to receive approval for your event within 5 business days. If you have not received confirmation within this time period, please contact the Housing Department at
